Vilsack: After Tuesday, HRC should back Obama

Monday, June 2nd, 2008 10:59 am

Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, a national co-chair for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, sees the end of the tunnel, according to an Associated Press story.

“It does appear to be pretty clear that Senator Obama is going to be the nominee. After Tuesday’s contests, she needs to acknowledge that he’s going to be the nominee and quickly get behind him,” Vilsack says, according to the AP.

Typical Iowa Democrat; Jump ship when the going gets tough!

Since neither of the Dem candidates has a majority of pledged delegates through the most recent primaries anyone could still be the nominee.
Remember, super delegates can say anything they want until the convention, and it is just so much wind.
