Hare backs Thomson plan

with 2 comments

U.S. Rep. Phil Hare, D-Ill., says he backs the idea of moving Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, detainees to the Thomson Correctional Center.

Hare, who had been non-commital, said on a conference call today, “I am not afraid of these people.”

Instead, what he is afraid of his continued economic decline in the area.

  1. The Federal jobs would be great. But this is typical of the type of politics he plays. Phil has not made any efforts to bring a voice to his party for small business development to this area. He goes along with whatever his party wants him to do. Phil does not have business sense. He is just like all the other politicians, he reports to the party bosses and does not do what is in the best interest of the people. We need people who are not in this for the long haul and have our best interests at stake, not their parties.

He is a very large part of why Illinois is 12 billion in the red and ranked the 4th most financially troubled state in the country. He is part of the problem. Thanks Phil! And if you dispute this, ask Phil how he would create a business, run a business, and sustain a business. People wonder why are country is in so much trouble. Look who we elect.

  2. Of course Hare would want to move terrorists to Illinois. He needs more voters.
